About

My name is Christi Garcia.  I currently live in Paris, France in a 10×10 (9M2) “chambre de bonne.”  It’s a six-floor walk up in the 18th.

This summer I resigned from my position at RJE/Knoll in Indy and attended Middlebury College Language School’s l’école Française for seven weeks. Since graduating from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, I always wanted to live and work overseas.  I placed my belongings in storage (a 5 x 15) and arrived in Paris on 1.10.10 (lots of tens).

I plan to write about my experiences of “being” in Paris and in Europe.

    Bonjour Christi,

    Louis

Good for you taking the plunge and deciding to move to Paris! I hadn’t seen you at the Indy Rotary meetings lately and now it all makes sense. I have lived overseas and it is a transformative experience. Paris is a magical and quirky place. Hope you enjoy your time there and keep the interesting posts coming!
